Dear Patients,

We at Colon Rectal Specialists are closely following this unprecedented situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic but remain committed to caring for our patients to the best of our ability. At the same time, we remain committed to doing our part to help the world, the local community, and our fellow citizens in fighting this pandemic. For this reason, if you present to the office with any symptoms of concern (fever, cough, shortness of breath, or flu-like symptoms) we will not be able to see you in the office at
that time, and we will assist you in rescheduling your appointment.

We would like to refer you to the most credible sources in garnering the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. Please check the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website for the most accurate updates:

We are also aware that we have a number of patients who may be in the high risk category due to their underlying inflammatory bowel disease and their medications. We refer you to the statement from the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation:

If you have recently travelled from a high risk country and you should be in quarantine, please call the office to reschedule your appointment.

If you are ill (fever, cough, shortness of breath, or flu-like symptoms) please call to reschedule your appointment and please refrain from leaving your home while contacting your healthcare provider.

We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust our recommendations in accordance with our local and federal governments as well as the local hospitals.
