Known for his sincere warmth and empathy, Dr. Murad Bani Hani puts his patients’ wellbeing above all else and is dedicated to provide the absolute best care possible.

After completing medical school at Jordan University Of Science And Technology, Dr. Murad Bani Hani moved to Baltimore, MD for his general surgery residency at St Agnes Hospital, a close affiliate to Johns Hopkins Hospital. There, he received multiple awards for exceptional achievement in academic performance as well as the Joseph Bloodgood Teaching Award. Once he completed his residency, he moved to Aroostook County in Maine where he served the community for 3.5 years as a general surgeon and as the chief of surgery at Cary Medical Center for 2 years.

Though he was lovingly attached to the great people of Aroostook County, he eventually moved to Buffalo, NY to pursue his passion of becoming fellowship trained in colorectal surgery. There, he received an outstanding training and specialized in minimally invasive robotic surgery. Dr.Bani Hani has honed his expertise in all areas of colorectal surgery, but he is particularly proficient in treating colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, colonoscopy and anorectal disorders.

When he is not caring for his patients, Dr. Bani Hani enjoys soccer and spending time with his wife Diyanah and 3 daughters. Their favorite ways to spend time include lazy weekends with family and friends at home and traveling to nature rich destinations.
